About Daily Geo

Daily Geo is a daily geography routine: four mechanically different challenges, one combined score, and a reason to come back tomorrow. It is not a generic quiz and not a clone of any single existing game.

Every puzzle is generated procedurally from structured geographic data. There is no editorial calendar and no manual daily authoring. The same UTC date always produces the same four rounds for every player.

Country outlines come from Natural Earth via the world-atlas 110m dataset. Names, codes, area, borders, and approximate centers come from the world-countries dataset. Geometry and metadata are joined on ISO numeric country codes and shipped with the app.

Map boundaries and country data are used for gameplay and follow the underlying source datasets. Their display does not represent a political position.

Daily Geo is designed to stay lightweight: no account required, no paid map APIs, and no runtime geography services.
